Earth Day 2012
On Sunday, April 22nd, Brownie Troop 4283 from John Stewart Elementary School planted an oak tree at Elburn Lions Park. The girls were able to purchase the oak tree with the money they raised from selling Girl Scout cookies this year. The troop wishes to thank the Van Bogaert family, as well as the Elburn Lions Club, for giving them a chance to change the world.
This activity was part of our club's green initiative, to raise money and plant trees in our community.

Your kids may have played at our park. You may have played at our park.
You may know somebody who has used a reading machine. You may know a family that has leaned upon the Elburn Food Pantry in tough times. You may have come to Elburn Days.
You may not know it, but chances are good that an Elburn Lion has played a part in your life.
We're guessing that you know a little about the Elburn Lions Club, and that you came to this web page looking to find out a little bit more. Thank you for stopping by. We hope that you will join us in our mission to serve others.
This web site - like many other things in Elburn - was built by volunteers.
